Premium Glass was founded in 1988 in Lafayette Louisiana by Al Chauvin. He mainly focused on residential glass, stained glass leaded panels and later branched out into commercial store fronts. Al worked hard, was well respected in the community and built the business into what it is today. In 2016 Al sailed off into retirement, quite literally, on his dearly loved sail boat. Now he and his wife are exploring the Atlantic and Caribbean... Business must go on and Al sold Premium Glass to his stepdaughter Nikki and her husband Tiger with the goal of expanding both the residential and the commercial sides of the business. Nikki focuses on keeping the business running and Tiger enjoys the challenge of making things work both in the shop and in the field. With their central location on 1813 Bertrand Drive, they service customers from Opelousas to New Iberia and from Crowley to Breaux Bridge. Their staff of 12 includes two long time installers, as well as many new faces. Their focus on the future is to grow the business and be the Premium Glass provider in the Acadiana area.
